This seminar course focuses on recent research results in the broader area of data analytics. There is no formal textbook for this course. We will mostly be reading and discussing recently published papers solving challenging data analytics, mining, and management problems that have appeared in top conferences in databases (e.g., SIGMOD, VLDB, and ICDE), data mining (e.g., SIGKDD and ICDM), ML (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, and ICLR), and AI (e.g., AAAI and IJCAI).
